Employer Background

Established in 2007, Avensys started as a Bio-Medical Engineering Repair and Maintenance company. A strategic decision to employ the best engineers in the country led to us becoming established as an industry leader, with a reputation for being able to provide a standard of service that was not previously available to either NHS or private medical facilities.

Session

An interactive session looking at a wide range of common medical devices, their modes of operation and their applications within healthcare settings. An opportunity to tour the organisation and meet staff in all departments including engineering, account management, finance, marketing, sales, stores and training.

This visit is aimed at students 16+ who wish to learn more about medical engineering and are considering an apprenticeship in engineering or business administration roles.
